Alpen
Alpen is a classic Swiss style muesli that brings together delicious toasted wheat flakes, creamy rolled oats, crunchy nuts & juicy raisins. The range includes two popular options: Alpen Original and Alpen No Added Sugar. Both are high in fibre and suitable for breakfast or as a snack, enjoyed with yogurt or milk.
Alpen is inspired by traditional Swiss muesli. The idea was born when a Weetabix employee was enjoying a family holiday to Switzerland and discovered a delicious, yet nutritious new breakfast cereal that everyone there was eating – Muesli! He and liked it so much that he brought the recipe back to the UK. The team soon developed the country’s first muesli recipe, and Alpen was launched in 1971.
